Dr. Jeff Goldsmith, DDS, MS
Since Dr. Jeff Goldsmith was a teenager, he dreamed of being an orthodontist – he is so excited to be living his dream! Specifically, He finds it thrilling to improve lives, both socially and professionally, by giving children and adults beautiful smiles. This passion for orthodontics shines through when discussing treatment and options with patients. In order to develop customized treatment plans for each individual, he believes the orthodontist must carefully listen to the patient’s concerns and desires.
Dr. Goldsmith went to Charlotte Country Day middle school and graduated from Myers Park High School. He was recruited to play football and wrestle at Mount Union College in Ohio where he found success, starting as a heavyweight wrestler and winning an NCAA Division III National Championship in football. His dental school success earned him acceptance into the prestigious UNC Orthodontic Residency, widely considered one of the best programs, if not the best program, in the world.
Dr. Goldsmith is a 4th-generation Charlottean. Between him and his wife, they have 6 grandparents, all 4 parents, and 4 out of 5 siblings still living in south Charlotte – this community is their home!
